摘要: The Brucella abortus strain 104M, a spontaneously attenuated strain, has been used as vaccine in humans against brucellosis for 6 decades China. Despite many studies, the molecular mechanisms that cause attenuation are still unclear. Here, we determined whole-genome sequence of 104M and conducted comprehensive comparative analysis whole genome sequences virulent A13334, other reference strains. This revealed highly similar structure between A13334. further genomic A13334 set genes missing 104M. Some these were identified to be directly or indirectly associated with virulence. Similarly, mutations virulence-related was also identified, which may related virulence alteration. study provides candidate B.abortus
