摘要: To evaluate the physiological importance of cytosolic ascorbate peroxidase (APX) in reactive oxygen species (ROS)-scavenging system, a full-length cDNA clone, named LmAPX, encoding was isolated from Lycium chinense Mill. using homologous cloning, then expression LmAPX under salt stress investigated. After sequencing and related analysis, sequence 965 bp length had an open reading frame (ORF) 750 coding for 250 amino acids. Furthermore, sub-cloned into prokaryotic vector pET28a recombinant proteins high level Escherichia coli. Results southern blot analysis indicated that three inserts this gene existed tobacco genome LmAPX. Compared with control plants (wild-type empty control), transgenic expressing exhibited lower amount hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) relatively higher values activity, proline content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn) same stress. These results suggested overexpression could decrease ROS production caused by protect oxidative
