摘要: The influence of mixed anaerobic bacterial biofilms comprising Desulfovibrio vulgaris and desulfuricans pure Vibrio alginolytics aerobic on cathodically protected AISI 304L stainless steel (SS) coupons was studied by means epifluorescence microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) electrochemical measurements. SS samples were applying —0.7 —0.9 V vs saturated calomel electrode (SCE) potential levels during different exposure periods between 3 h 14 d. Bacterial settlement growth reduced cathodic protection in the initial stages biofilm formation. number attached bacteria did not decrease when applied after a stationary formed.
