摘要: Abstract Microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) process is divided into two main categories, namely in-situ and ex-situ techniques. It utilizes reservoir microorganisms or specially selected bacteria to use their metabolites for more from depleted reservoirs. In the present study, potential of biosurfactant-producing strains Enterobacter cloacae Bacillus stearothermophilus SUCPM#14 were investigated on tertiary efficiency in carbonated cores using different designed injection protocols. The required operational time, cost proper selection bacterial formulation during MEOR objectives this study. results interfacial tension (IFT) measurements demonstrated capability E. reduce water/crude IFT 30 2.7 mN/m after 24 h cultivation, while B. was able slightly 15 mN/m same period time. core flooding tests showed formulations various patterns, leading efficiencies. Besides, that time as well directly affects design a reservoir. Based performed tests, most scenarios leads significant Considering economical parameters higher feasibility processes compared type. protocols appropriate result considerable amounts recovery.
