摘要: Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic chronic inflammatory disease of autoimmune origin. It characterized by progressive inflammation the synovium, resulting in joint destruction. Treatment aims to prevent or reduce damage, but complete remission rarely achieved. Therefore, identification new active agents important for development novel therapeutic alternatives. Although Pterodon pubescens oil widely used owing its anti-rheumatic, antinociceptive, and anti-inflammatory activities, there are no medicines on market containing this plant thus far. This study aimed optimize nanoemulsion P. intramuscular administration evaluate influence different ingredients, such as polysorbates PEG castor oils, their concentrations physicochemical properties formulations. Negatively charged particles (∼−30 mV) with mean diameter 199 nm were produced using 7.5% PEG-40H oil, they presented marked pseudoplastic behavior facilitating injection. The method was shown be suitable producing chemically stable nanoemulsions. work also addressed physical stability nanoemulsions, which measured means analytical centrifuge LUMiSizer ® , procedure disclosed absence demixing phenomena majority samples.
