摘要: Abstract Large male Drosophila subobscura carry bigger drops of regurgitated food during courtship and have greater success with starved females than do small males. However, if males are prevented from producing a drop, the large males, suggesting that they perform some other aspect better In present study were ones at tracking female dance. Although different sizes ran same top speed dance, larger lagged further behind presumably because take longer to accelerate or decelerate any given speed. A male's walking ability will also depend on factors such as his ‘athletic ability’ amount stored in crop body tissues. The possible relationships between athletic gathering fertility wild discussed.
