摘要: Body size is one of the most investigated traits in studies sexual selection fruit flies genus Drosophila. In D. melanogaster, has often been correlated with male mating success, i.e. larger males were more successful achieving copulations both laboratory and field conditions. present paper, we if body a sexually selected trait competitive conditions, when full-sibs that developed at two different temperatures (18 25°C) competed for females. Males lower temperature significantly than those reared higher temperature, but they not mating. We conclude induced by variability, it success.
