摘要: The health of peri-implant soft tissues is important for the long-term success rate dental implants and surface topography pivotal in influencing it. Thus, aim this study was to evaluate, human patients, inflammatory mucosal microenvironment tissue surrounding a new, nanoscale, laser-treated healing abutment characterized by engineered nanopores versus standard machined-surface. Analyses anti- pro-inflammatory markers, cytokeratins, desmosomal proteins scanning electron microscopy were performed 30 soft-tissue biopsies retrieved during second-stage surgery. results demonstrate that lower grade inflammation than one facing machined-surface, which, turn, showed disrupted epithelium altered desmosomes. Moreover, higher adhesion epithelial cells on detected compared machined one. In conclusion, seems play an role not only cell adhesion, but also makers’ expression microenvironment. from clinical point view, use kind may be crucial importance abutments prosthetic ones.
