摘要: In the early 1980s, explanations suggested for so-called “forest decline” mainly involved various forms of air pollution and, secondarily, more-or-less direct effects this on soils. However, while explanation alone seemed relatively clear and sufficient in cases severe dieback with nearby sources heavy pollution, such as Ore Mountains, role regional more widespread but less acute declines was yet to be convincingly established, despite numerous studies.
