摘要: A new manganese(II) co-ordination polymer, [Mn(bimb)3][ClO4]2·2H2O [bimb = 4,4′-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)biphenyl], was synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, magnetic susceptibility luminescent measurements. The cation structure of the complex is an infinite one-dimensional chain containing a poly-metallocage. Each MnII co-ordinates with six nitrogen atoms different bimb ligands distorted octahedral environment each ligand in turn binds to two MnII. perchlorate counter ions water molecules are incorporated between adjacent chains through four C–H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
