摘要: Abstract Rapid increases in computing power and data storage capacity, along with the continued evolution of commercial geographic information systems (GIS), have significantly widened production consumption spatial data. Considering varying disciplines (sociology, economics, public policy, city regional planning, science, geography, etc.) investigating digital economies, Internet, telecommunications, it is no surprise that related to such topics high demand. Due technological complexities telecommunication systems, however, analysts need be aware potential impacts associated use imperfect when evaluating infrastructure, particularly context social, political, economic environmental issues. More importantly, implications on policy development must considered. The purpose this paper explore how imperfection resident a range analyses. A framework presented for identifying addressing analysis sensitivities information. In addition, case study examining subscriber line (xDSL) deployment Columbus, Ohio provided. Results suggest significant difference proposed vs. actual availability xDSL services area.
