摘要: Background/Aims: We aimed to clarify postural control deficits in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) at high risk of falling by addressing the inhibitory process. Methods: This study involved 376 community-dwelling MCI. Participants were instructed execute forward stepping on side indicated central arrow while ignoring 2 flanking arrows each (→→→→→, congruent, or →→←→→, incongruent). Initial weight transfer direction errors [anticipatory adjustment (APA) errors], step execution times, and divided phases (reaction, APA, swing phases) measured from vertical force data. categorized as fallers (n = 37) non-fallers 339) based fall experiences last 12 months. Results: There no differences phases, error rates, APA rates between groups, but had a significantly longer phase relative trials incongruent condition (p 0.005). Fallers also reaction correct regardless 0.01). Conclusion: Analyses choice visual interference can detect prolonged preparation specific falling-associated deficit
