摘要: Tio2 colloids with the most probably particle size of 10 nm were deposited on surface macroporous diatomite by a layer-by-layer (lbl) assembly method using phytic acid as molecular binder. for preparation colloidal tio2, titanium(iv) isopropoxicle (ti(c3h7o)(4)) was used titanium precursor, nitric (hno3) peptizing agent and deionized water isopropanol (c3h7oh) solvent. scanning electron microscopy (sem), transmission (tem), x-ray diffraction (xrd), n-2 adsorption-desorption, uv-vis spectra are to assess morphology physical chemistry properties resulting tio2 coated diatomite. it shown that mesoporosity has been introduced into lbl deposition. originated from close-packing uniform nanoparticles. more could be increasing deposition cycles. this hierarchical porous material potential applications in catalytic reactions involved diffusion limit, especially photocatalytic reactions.
