INHIBITION OF BUFALIN ON PITUITARY AND TESTICULAR FUNCTION IN RATS

摘要: The effects of bufalin on the secretion testosterone and luteinizing hormone (LH) accumulation testicular adenosine 3′:5′-cyclic monophosphate (cAMP) were studied. Male rats injected with bufalin, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), releasing (GnRH), hCG plus or GnRH via a jugular catheter. Blood samples collected at several intervals subsequent to challenge. In in vitro study, rat testis blocks incubated both for 1 h. anterior pituitary gland was 30 min. media analyzed LH. For studying cAMP accumulation, h medium containing isobutyl-1-methylxanthine. After incubation, tissues extracted by ethanol before measuring concentration. A single intravenous injection decreased basal hCG-stimulated levels plasma testosterone. Administration resulted an inhibition release Bufalin diminished testes. However, LH not altered administration. Likewise, response administration, vivo . These results suggest that production is partly caused decrease rats.
