摘要: alpha-Tocopherol transfer protein (alpha-TTP) supplements nascent very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) preferentially with alpha-tocopherol by selecting the alpha-isomers against other stereoisomers of tocopherol. It is exclusively expressed in liver. We investigated whether expression hepatic alpha-TTP can be induced dietary tocopherols. Vitamin E-depleted rats were fed a diet containing alpha- and delta-tocopherol (ratio 1:3). The mRNA was measured liver tissue. ratio tocopherol determined plasma, plasma lipoproteins tissues to measure metabolic action alpha-TTP. Refeeding either or delta-tocopherol, both, caused steady increase mRNA. In parallel alpha/delta-tocopherol increased VLDL, high-density low-density as well tissue, when both isomers. alpha-tocopherol/delta-tocopherol heart, kidney, lung, lamellar bodies lung lavage showed no comparatively low increase. data show that isomers able induce rat and, thus, ability select for alpha-isomer. On hand, depletion did not change rat.
