CyberEye: An Internet-Enabled Environment to Support Collaborative Design

摘要: The focus of this paper is to address two key issues in the development an Internet-enabled collaborative design environ ment. first concerned with 3D-models display and manipulation on Internet; second collaboration coordination communications across a team(s) through Internet. A novel approach studied which Java3D technology explored achieving meanwhile, state-of-the-art IT technologies (e.g., ASP, Java Servlet Windows Socket) are applied support both asynchronous synchronous distributed interactions.
