摘要: Industrial operations are spreading around the whole globe. Not only marketing and production, but also design development of products influenced y globalization. New challenges tasksb emerging unceasingly, which require genuine global solutions for geographically distributed product design, engineering, realization. Communication collaboration have got into focus, calling new approaches to activities such as concept definition, virtual prototyping, review, production planning. It is becoming more or less obvious that it not possible fulfil requirements solely based on conventional CAD/E systems present Internet facilities. The current Internet-based show poor functionality performance compared standalone systems. infrastructure, tools, methods knowledge needed in form collaborative nvironments (CVDEs). For instance, American National Telee -immersion Initiative (NTII) will enable users at sites collaborate real time a shared, simulated environment if they were same physical room. CVDEs represent holonically-integrated systems, therefore unimportant collaborating partners areco-located remotely located.
