摘要: Developing new materials or improving their heat treatment techniques is key to industrial upgrades for increasing fastener product quality. Nowadays, high tensile strength bolts are heat-treated achieve desired mechanical properties such as hardness, strength, toughness, and resistance fatigue wear. Ultrasound detection one widely used nondestructive inspection technique. Based on the characteristics of wave transmission, refraction, diffraction, scattering ultrasound velocity attenuation in a material governed by its grain boundary characteristics. In this study, C1045 middle carbon steel was at various temperatures then water-quenched, relationships among size, ultrasonic velocity, attenuation, hardness were determined using two sources. Our experimental results show that smaller average size well higher can be obtained from quenching temperatures. Faster acoustic velocities slower coefficients caused hardness. A effect more obvious transducer frequencies. demonstrate another test assess process industry.
