摘要: The ultrasonic contact impedance technique and wave velocities have been widely used for non-destructive hardness measurement. Ultrasonic velocity shift provides through the thickness average hardness, however, correlations are performed according to surface hardness. In order accept this as a particular method determination of it is necessary test with industrial applications. A joining (welding) selected purpose. Samples carbon steels three different contents, but similar composition, annealed in obtain softened samples values. Rockwell B scale heat treated samples, which assumed be isotropic, determined correlated shifts. Effect welding process on investigated using shifts, results verified destructive measurements.
