摘要: Acoustic Pharyngometry is a modern diagnostic method based on physical principle of acoustic reflection. It useful for volume analysis oro-pharyngo-laryngeal spaces. AIM: To evaluate variations pharyngometric parameters in patients with sleep disorders and to establish correlation between morpho-volumetric spaces the presence severity disease. STUDY DESIGN: clinical experimental study. MATERIAL AND METHOD: 110 patients, which 70 40 healthy as control group, were analysed June 2004 2005. All underwent pharyngometry mouth hypopharynx an explanatory chart. RESULTS: A significant difference was observed disorder especially amplitude I wave (significantly lower macroglossia), extension O-F segment, segment hypopharyngeal area. CONCLUSION: Although not standardized test, proved be both diagnosis obstructive apnea, post-operative monitoring upper airway surgery disorders.
