摘要: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a relatively common disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of upper airway collapse and obstruction during sleep. It results in apneic events (or the case partial obstruction, hypopneic events) that lead to loud snoring, hypoxia, arousals interrupt normal cycle. Typically, these nocturnal cause patients complain excessive daytime sleepiness, which may interfere with routine daily activities. More importantly, when moderate severe, OSAS can wide variety medical complications, some result severe consequences or even death.
