摘要: Non-linear seismic responses are described for three prototype, long, multiple-span, reinforced concrete, modern highway bridge structures, namely the 5/14 South Connector Overcrossing and curved Figueroa Street Under-crossing as designed by California Department of Transportation, a straight version Undercrossing. The analytical discussed correlated with apparent prototype behaviour experienced during San Fernando, California, earthquake 9 February 1971. In particular, causes collapse identified examined. Finally, based on parameter studies these general conclusions recommendations related to design methodology presented.
