摘要: Nonlinear static procedures are becoming, evermore, popular tools for the seismic assessment of structures. Despite considerable number studies that have already addressed improvement pushover analysis, its limitations still widely recognized by scientific community, namely inherent inability to accurately predict behaviour irregular On other hand, 3D structures exhibit a complex dynamic behaviour, in which most critical direction ground motion input is many times not readily clear. In such cases, multi-directional analysis must be performed order capture vulnerable earthquake demand structure. The study presented herein aims assess accuracy predicting irregular-in-plan RC curved bridges and ascertain effectiveness analysis. Particular attention paid definition force distribution patterns, determination target displacements, as well modelling biaxial columns. structural response assessed terms global local behaviour. A comparative evaluation bridges, estimated using nonlinear (pushover) illustrates applicability technique influence directions bridges.
