摘要: Cellular development can be controlled by communication between adjacent cells mediated the highly conserved Notch signaling system. A cell expressing receptor on one activated in trans ligands an leading to alteration of transcription and cellular fate. Ligands also have ability inhibit signaling, this accomplished when both are coexpressed cis same cell. The manner which cis-inhibition is not entirely clear but it known involve several different protein domains receptor. Some involved trans-activation used for cis-inhibition, some uniquely each process. In work, involvement various ligand regions discussed relation their contributions signaling.
