摘要: Summary Hill numbers unify biodiversity metrics by combining several into one expression. For example, species richness, Shannon's diversity index and the Gini–Simpson are a few of most used measures, they can be expressed as Hill numbers. Traditionally, have been calculated from relative abundance data, but expression has modified to use incidence data well. We demonstrate an approach for estimating using occupancy modelling framework that accounts imperfect detection. We alter formula probabilities opposed previously calculate its summations modelled richness. After introducing occupancy-based numbers, we differences between them incidence-based through simulation study two applications. In examples real were larger than although richness was estimated similarly both methods. The number estimators always at their asymptotic values (i.e. if infinite samples taken region), therefore making it easy compare different assemblages. In addition, computed derived quantities within Bayesian hierarchical model, allowing straightforward inference.
