摘要: From a European perspective, the Nordic Region is sparsely populated but also one where, in 2016, more than 75% of population lived urban settlements with 2,000 inhabitants. Moreover, growth has been concentrated to larger functional areas for decades, though, around 45% still outside these areas. In this chapter, an settlement map covering entire first time presented which, combination other spatial data, provides new insights into various ongoing urbanisation processes, urban-rural relations and small medium-sized city developments Region.
