Influence of copper hexacyanoferrate film thickness on the electrochemical properties of self-assembled 3-mercaptopropyl gold electrode and application as a hydrazine sensor

摘要: A copper hexacyanoferrate film was obtained on a modified electrode prepared by self-assembly of 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane gold surface. The thickness controlled using layer-by-layer technique to tune the electrocatalytic properties electrode. Two electrodes with different thicknesses were via three immersions (AuS/CuHCF3) and six (AuS/CuHCF6) in precursor solutions. Cyclic voltammetry data determine adequate thickness. Scanning electron microscopy images showed roughness increase due growth at Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy distinct behavior for two prepared; while diffusion charge transfer processes can be observed both electrodes, an additional capacitive process intermediary frequencies AuS/CuHCF6 resistance (Rct) AuS/CuHCF3 (19.6 Ω cm2) lower than (27.9 thickness, since demands simultaneous K+ into used evaluate application as electrochemical sensor, revealing linear correlation hydrazine concentrations.
