摘要: Abstract Cancer represents one of the most life threatening disease worldwide. Poly ethylene glycol nanoemulsion (PEG-NE), a new drug delivery system (DDS) is widely utilized for encapsulating water insoluble drugs and delivering it into cancerous tissue following its intravenous injection. Brucine (BRU) an effective anti-carcinogenic agent toward different cancer cell lines; however, low solubility great obstacle in formulation. The objective this investigation was to develop evaluate BRU-PEG-NE. Physicochemical evaluation including, viscosity, particle size entrapment efficiency investigations were performed. Quantitative qualitative estimation total serum protein adsorbed onto surface BRU-NE vitro release studies with without incubation assayed. Formulations tested their cytotoxic activity using MTT assay. Finally, in-vivo anticancer effect evaluated tumor-inoculated mice. Homogenous NEs obtained less than 140 nm viscosity 3.3 cP Total 17.33 ± 0.76 μg/μmol lipid 65 % over 24 h PEG-NE. As well, PEG-NEs could achieve significant inhibition viability cells. reduction tumor growth rate mortality BRU PEG-NE formulations obtained. results suggested that PEG NE be considered as potential mean therapy.
