摘要: Abstract River landscapes offer diverse cultural ecosystem services. Providing more information on the quantity that river provide in terms of offered services could contribute to landscape planning. Offered are contribution may benefits humans. The aim this study is apply an indicator framework for spatially assessing German landscapes. Our ‘CulturAl Ecosystem Services landscapes’ (CAESaR) quantifies at national and local scale, with adapted sets sub-indicators regard required level detail available spatial data. considers opportunities water-related non activities, aesthetic quality, heritage. results show highly rated areas have above-average proportion courses active floodplains. Historical floodplains lower scores overall. land cover classes pasture, broad-leaved forest water receive high scores, whereas non-irrigated arable characterizes low scores. We conclude proposed proved applicable various scales can be transferred cases a similar context.
