摘要: BACKGROUND Despite increasing importance of Acinetobacter baumannii in nosocomial infections and rapid development multi-antimicrobial resistance this strain, the mechanisms beta-lactam antimicrobials A. were not clearly defined. In order to observe against beta-lactams carbapenem, we characterized production beta-lactamases outermembrane protein (OMP) profiles for 44 clinical isolates baumannii. METHODS The MICs determined by agar dilution test. secondary isoelectric focusing, polymerase chain reactions nucleotide sequencing, chromosomal was quantitated spectrophotometric method. For two strains with an elevated MIC profile analyzed ultracentrifugation sonicated bacteral cells SDS-PAGE. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION Twenty or 4 produced TEM-1-like beta-lactamase PER-1 extended-spectrum beta-lactamase, respectively. However, when several production, level mainly imipenem, a decrease loss about 35 kDa 22 proteins OMP observed, which suggested that change played role carbapenem resistance.
