摘要: Abstract Statement of problem. Accuracy techniques for recording the orientation maxillary arch to articulation temporomandibular joints has been reported. The variability contributed by dentist and equipment within a technique may also contribute technical error. Purpose. This study investigated group dentists who used an arbitrary ear–face-bow instrument mount cast. Material methods. same cast on single experimental subject was mounted articulator with common instrument. equipped 4 reference points measurement changes spatial cast, which were determined through coordinate measurements machinist's microscope. A repeated measures analysis variance determine statistically significant in Wilks' Lambda test compare mean values. Results. confidence interval 95% demonstrated that any might expect range ±1.2 mm error using this instrument/articulator combination. 3 did not demonstrate differences their mountings vertical or horizontal directions. However, there linear distance patient's posterior right side. Conclusion. inherent attributable operator recorded. (J Prosthet Dent 1999;82:150-6.)
