摘要: For enhancing the performance of characteristic-based method, multidimensional characteristics incompressible flows are applied for developing a novel efficient bicharacteristic-based method. The multidimensionality information propagation is embedded in convective flux computation by directional derivatives along bicharacteristics conjunction with cross derivative. well-known benchmark problems (i.e. flow around circular cylinder, lid-driven cavity flow, and sphere) solved to validate proposed scheme presence strong interaction separated vortical flow. results represent significant consensus solutions.
