摘要: Abstract This article provides methods to fabricate and characterize tissue equivalent properties of mammography phantom. The characterized are elemental composition, effective atomic number, electron density, attenuation coefficient CT number. Polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL), ethanol solution graphite powder were used develop samples breast phantoms. First, the microstructure composition phantom materials acquired from field emission scanning microscopy (FESEM). FESEM micrography was a good analytical technique indicate void spaces within Next, number density calculated percentage based on energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDXA). Mayneord's formula Phy-X/ZeXTRa software evaluate calculations show that ranged 7.137 7.264 6.75–7.05 for Mayneord approach respectively. 3.191–3.209 × 1023/g. These values found be in agreement with water by ICRP AAPM standards. Then, mass coefficients PVAL transmission low photons using fluorescent (XRF) at 16.61–25.26 keV. close when results compared XCOM values. Finally, images measure numbers, which near tissues, −21.40 24.13 HU. Based ICRP, AAPM, BIRADS standards, study successfully showed
