摘要: This study describes the different parameters used to derive allometric equation for calculating biomass of an invasive woody shrub Lantana camara L. from subtropical conditions western Himalaya. It identifies most accurate and convenient method calculation by comparing destructive with non-destructive methodology. Different were measured on a wide range community levels total above-ground biomass. explanatory variables identified such as basal diameter either single independent variable or in combination plant height. The other suitable combinations available include crown length, width, area, volume coverage plant. Amongst equations variables, D2H was found be estimator Lantana. Sahastradhara, being disturbed area due its high tourist activity round year, showed maximum (58.57 % ha−1), highest (13,559.60 kg ha−1) carbon density (6,373.01 degree Lantana’s invasiveness also calculated basis importance value index (IVI). IVI (22.77) mean (26.8 obtained areas near Jolly Grant airport, indicating that physically are more growth Lantana, which may significantly increase incorporating biomass, role atmospheric assimilation has thus been highlighted through findings this study.
