摘要: Abstract The objective of this study is to construct a numerically dated chronology the last interglacial paleosol (S1) in Chinese loess using luminescence dating. recuperated optically stimulated (ReOSL) dating approach was applied 18 closely-spaced (20 cm intervals) samples, with 15 these collected from S1 unit at Weinan site, which located southeastern margin Loess Plateau (CLP). By multiple-aliquot regenerative-dose (MAR) approach, fine-grained quartz ReOSL equivalent dose (DE) values, spanning about 249–466 Gy, were obtained. validity MAR protocol checked by recovery measurements and recycling ratio tests. comparison dose-response curves all we found that it feasible standardized growth curve (SGC) for signal site. Considering effects pedogenesis during formation, rate corrected, should be beneficial constructing more reliable chronology. Finally, detailed established. results show deposited between approximately 76–127 ka, confirms early suggestion corresponds whole marine oxygen-isotope stage (MIS) 5. indicates consistency substrata MIS 5a-e, but cannot determine whether they are exactly coeval. According present age results, suggested dust deposition continuous timescales larger than 14.1 ± 11.8 ky there no hiatus longer 4.4 ± 13.0 ky L2/S1 transition. Further work, e.g. minimizing errors on ages reducing sampling intervals, needed understand conditions loess.
