摘要: Abstract Laboratory storage and preheating experiments were carried out to study anomalous fading of infrared stimulated luminescence (IRSL) signals derived from polymineral grains extracted Chinese loess. Results laboratory at 150 °C higher temperature showed that such thermal treatments could lessen the effect indicated presence both non-thermal fading. In addition, behavior natural over past 9–170 ka was investigated. By comparing with independent ages (obtained fine-grain quartz using optically (OSL) signal for 130 ka thermally transferred OSL (TT-OSL) in age range 130–170 ka) same samples, equivalent doses obtained IRSL found be underestimated by different amounts since penultimate glacial; there a linear dependence when underestimation plotted against geological time.
