摘要: SUMMARY Multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA) and type III effector (T3E) repertoire mining were performed to gain new insights into the genetic relatedness of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. (Xoo) oryzicola (Xoc), two major bacterial pathogens rice. Based on a collection 45 African Asian strains, we first sequenced analysed three housekeeping genes by MLSA, Bayesian clustering median-joining network approach. Second, investigated distribution 32 T3E genes, which are known be virulence factors plant pathogenic bacteria, in all selected polymerase chain reaction dot-blot hybridization methods. The diversity observed within as well repertoires, clearly showed that both belong closely related, but distinct, phylogenetic groups. Interestingly, these evolutionary groups differentiated according geographical origin suggesting populations Xoo Xoc might endemic Africa Asia, thus have evolved separately. We further revealed gene repertoires comprise core variable suites probably distinct roles pathogenicity different histories. In this study, carried out functional xopO, differential between Xoc, determine involvement tissue specificity. Altogether, our data contribute better understanding history provide clues for studies aiming understand virulence, host specificity rice pathogens.
