摘要: OBJECTIVE —The DIABHYCAR (type 2 DIABetes, Hypertension, CArdiovascular Events and Ramipril) study allowed investigators to analyze factors leading the development of congestive heart failure (CHF) in type diabetic patients with abnormal urinary albumin concentration. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS —Type subjects both sexes aged ≥50 years who had a concentration ≥20 mg/l were randomly allocated 1.25 mg/day ramipril or placebo addition their usual treatment treated for 3–6 double-blind fashion. Major outcomes including hospitalization CHF recorded during follow-up. RESULTS —Of 4,912 included patients, 187 developed study. There was no significant difference incidence between two groups. Using multivariate analysis, independent risk occurrence age, history cardiovascular disease, baseline concentration, HbA 1c , smoking habits. A total 68 (36.4%) died 12 ± 11-month period after first CHF, whereas annual mortality rate population did not develop 3.2%. CONCLUSIONS —Presence atherosclerotic level indicators further CHF. Occurrence is major prognostic turn patient’s life.
