摘要: The objective was to study the development and progression of heart disease in type 2 diabetic patients evaluate influence revascularisation procedures on its outcome. A 10-year observation 385 attending a hospital-based outpatient clinic performed. total 156/385 developed myocardial infarction (n=68), angina (n=44), failure (n=34) or died (n=109). high mortality seen with (73%) (71%), contrast, (25%). Thirty had coronary angiography because angina, out which 23 were revascularised. Four (17%) bypass surgery angioplasty compared 57 (67%) no intervention (p<0.001). occurrence associated age (p<0.0001), mean systolic (p<0.05) diastolic blood pressure degree albuminuria at entry (p<0.05). Heart HbA(1c) levels (p<0.05), while only Death diabetes duration (p<0.0001). This shows incidence diabetes. prognosis better who procedure. Thus, more active attitude towards may potentially improve for atherosclerotic disease.
