摘要: We sought to examine psychological mechanisms of treatment outcomes a mindfulness meditation intervention for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). examined and decentering as two potential therapeutic action GAD symptom reduction in patients randomized receive either mindfulness-based stress (MBSR) or an attention control class (N = 38). Multiple mediation analyses were conducted using non-parametric cross product the coefficients approach that employs bootstrapping. Analyses revealed change significantly mediated effect MBSR on anxiety. When both mediators included model, multiple analysis significant indirect through increases decentering, but not mindfulness. Furthermore, direct decrease was significant, suggesting fully relationship. Results also suggested reduces worry increase mindfulness, specifically by awareness nonreactivity. Improvements symptoms resulting from are part explained increased levels decentering.
