摘要: Resonant photoemission has been studied above the carbon 1s ionization thresholds in gas‐phase benzene and ethylene. The experimental data for both molecules include relative partial cross section asymmetry‐parameter measurements C main line one shake‐up satellite each system. Resonances K edge have analyzed on basis of their decay to either or valence‐hole states, tentatively assigned as shape resonances doubly excited states according observed one‐electron many‐electron decay, respectively. importance determining resonant behavior all available channels proximity a resonance is thus illustrated.
