摘要: Different approaches to measure the hospital competition index might lead inconsistent results of effects on innovation adoption. The purpose this study is adopt a different approach define market area and level examine whether has positive effect behavior, taking quality indicator projects participation as an example. A total 238 hospitals located in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung were recruited study. Competition was used independent variable, lists Taiwan Clinical Performance Indicator Healthcare Series 2012 dependent variables. All data retrieved from national profiles list 2 2012; these are issued by Ministry Health Welfare annually. Geopolitical boundaries 4 kinds fixed radiuses area. Herfindahl-Hirschman Index density competition. 12 indices produced employing geographic information system, while max-rescaled R2 evaluate compare models goodness fit. show that varied, which mean indicators for reveal conclusions. Furthermore, also found at 5-km radius optimum index.
