The distribution of gastric ulcers: Double contrast barium meal and endoscopy findings

摘要: One thousand consecutive double contrast barium meals and 424 upper gastrointestinal endoscopic examinations have been reviewed. 70 gastric ulcers were found radiologically in 56 patients 82 endoscopically patients. 55% of radiological 53.6% located the mid or body stomach. This distribution is contrary to previous findings with traditional meal. Age did not seem be a major factor. The meal particular left anterior oblique view head elevated, display en face lesser curve around cardia where many benign carcinomas arise.
