摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW Animal models published within the past 18 months on asthma, food allergy and anaphylaxis, all conditions of rising public health concern, were reviewed. RECENT FINDINGS While domestic animals spontaneously develop in animal models, divergent sensitization challenge routes, dosages, intervals antigens are used to induce asthmatic, allergic or anaphylactic phenotypes. This must be considered interpretation results. Instead model antigens, gradually relevant allergens such as house dust mite like peanut, apple peach research used. Novel engineered mouse a with T-cell receptor for allergen Der p 1, transgenic human hFcγR genes, facilitated investigation single molecules interest. Whole-body plethysmography has become state-of-the-art in-vivo readout asthma research. In anaphylaxis research, novel techniques developed allowing real-time monitoring effects following challenge. Networks share tissues established an effort reduce experiments which cannot replaced by in-vitro measures. SUMMARY Natural artificial explore pathophysiology improve prophylactic therapeutic Especially mimicking molecular aspects complex immune network will facilitate proof-of-concept studies under controlled conditions.
