摘要: New balloon-on-a-wire dilation systems allow crossing of severely stenosed coronary arteries owing to their ultra-low profile. However, these do not for over-the-wire exchange a larger balloon catheter or insertion perfusion catheters, should the vessel close abruptly during dilation. Therefore, if need such catheters arises, must be left unprotected attempts recross lesion. We describe new technique using combined system and an exchangeable guidewire, which permits arteries, while at same time offering protection exchange.
