摘要: Turkey has proved to be one of the fast developing countries until end 2013. The new intense construction activity was called “urban transformation”, for a better environment by government, and aimed replace buildings that were unable sustain earthquakes. As transformation executed, it turned out functioned excessive profit. This paper will focus on this issue in two phases. First phase exposes spots problems within city Istanbul, where author lives documents as professional photographer artist. second is an exploration how public engagement introduced place-making Istanbul. recent Gezi Park Resistance took place Istanbul reflected case participatory, collaborative policy/place-making efforts able call people motivation shape their cities.
