Evaluation of microstructure and mechanical properties of dissimilar welding of copper alloy and stainless steel

摘要: The dissimilar welding of copper alloy and stainless steel was achieved with a gas tungsten arc method. We evaluated the mechanical properties post weld. experimental results indicated that tensile stress weld CuCrZr/SS OFHC/SS joint 310 220 MPa, respectively. morphology fracture surface showed dimple pattern structure; microhardness distribution hardness 70~130 Hv in fusion zone. Observations scanning electron microscope Fe Cr elements were mutually soluble substrate confirmed successfully combined.
