摘要: Abstract Sensitization of motor activity is a behavioural test to evaluate the effects psychostimulants. Conditioned place preference (CPP) an associative learning procedure examine rewarding properties drugs. We aimed assess whether sensitization drugs abuse can make zebrafish more vulnerable establishing drug-induced CPP. first evaluated locomotor repeated administrations nicotine and cocaine during 5 days after withdrawal. After withdrawal, when were re-exposed same dose or was increased by 103% 166%, respectively. Different groups sensitized trained on - CPP task day The selected for not effective developing in naive whereas it elicited that previously cocaine. Levels nicotinic acetylcholine receptor β2, α6 α7 subunit, Pitx3, tyrosine hydroxylase 1 (TH1) mRNAs brain nicotine- cocaine-sensitized zebrafish. Nicotine-CPP performed with drug-sensitized provoked further enhancements expression TH1 suggesting these molecules reward pathway involved both processes. Our findings indicate exposures low doses increase subject's sensitivity different This suggests casual drug intake increases probability becoming addict.
