摘要: Abstract Increasing evidence indicates that Huntington’s disease (HD) produces postural control impairments even before the clinical diagnosis. It has been suggested disorders of HD patients are explained by deficits in processing and integration sensory information, but this hypothesis under-explored. In present study, we evaluated amplitude center pressure (COP) displacement during maximum leaning four directions (forward, backward, rightward leftward) under three conditions (eyes open, eyes closed standing on foam). We assessed stability limits 20 individuals with a positive genetic test (12 premanifests; eight manifests HD) 15 healthy controls. The COP displacements were analyzed first second phases maintenance position. Manifest showed significantly greater ranges than controls both learning all conditions, greatest deterioration their performance was found foam condition. contrast, premanifest displayed larger only phase learning, especially Furthermore, groups had smaller subjects learning. However, ability to maintain position degraded phases. Together, these findings demonstrate reduces onset. our results indicate dynamic tasks high demand for sensorimotor use proprioception highly sensitive early processes. This task may become useful biomarker progression.
