摘要: Abstract The amount of Feulgen-positive material in the macronucleus Tetrahymena pyriformis HSM was determined by means microphotometry different stages cell cycle and lines. Distribution DNA between sisters is not equal. mean degree variation are maintained combined result two processes: 1. DNA-containing bodies eliminated at macronuclear division. these correlated to macronuclei from which they originate. 2. When a lower limit content reached there occurs an additional replication round next generation resulting fourfold increase macronucleus. This event about 2 per cent cells. In cases time one division extended.
